If you submitted your Industry Session presentation before January 15th (for inclusion on the USB stick), this presentation has already been uploaded to this presentation management site. You do not need to do anything at this time if you plan to use the PDF version of this presentation on-site.

If you missed the January 15th extended deadline (even if you sent the presentation after that date), OR, if you want to update or use a PowerPoint file instead of PDF, please follow the instructions below.

As noted in the call for papers for APEC 2018, the pdf version of APEC presentations associated with technical session papers will be distributed to conference attendees; submitting a digest served as implicit agreement and consent to electronic distribution of the presentation. Dialogue session presenters need to submit a pdf version of their posters for electronic distribution. For 2018 this distribution will occur through online access following the conference.

You may submit your presentations before the conference via the internet. The file format must be Microsoft Power Point or Adobe pdf for presentation and pdf only for on-line proceedings. If needed you may submit a modified version of your presentation in the speaker ready room up to 1 hour prior to your session. If you use Microsoft Power Point for presentation, you must also submit an updated pdf version for electronic distribution. You will not be allowed to load your presentation directly onto the laptop in the meeting room. If no presentation is uploaded prior to your session, your presentation will be considered a no-show. Although your paper will be on the proceedings flash drive distributed to attendees, it will not be submitted to IEEE Xplore for archiving.

Confirmation that your Presentation was received

After submitting a file, you will receive a confirmation email within an hour. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact to ensure your file was received. When contacting support for technical issues please reference (APEC) as the conference name and the presenter’s full name.

How to make changes to your presentation

If you need to make changes to a presentation that you submitted, you may resubmit the files on the website using a new file name; you should also delete the earlier submission. It’s strongly suggested to review your presentation prior to your session, please visit the Speaker Ready Room on site at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in 211.

How to back up files

Although we take every precaution to ensure files are not corrupted during the file upload, it is always recommended that a backup copy of your presentation is brought with you on a CD or USB stick to the speaker ready room.

Speaker Ready Room

If you do not get a chance to submit your updated presentation in advance, you may bring it to the Speaker Ready Room on site at the Henry B Gonzalez Convention Center (211) to ensure the quality of your presentation(s) including fonts, bullets, outlines, animations, etc. The Speaker Ready Room computers are configured with the same hardware and software as those in the presentation rooms. As mentioned earlier, all presenters are asked to submit their final presentation revisions no later than 1 hour prior to their presentation time. Presenters will not be allowed to load their modified presentations directly onto the laptop in the meeting room.
