APEC Announces Seventh Annual Student Attendance Grant Program

he IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition is offering an Award to selected student applicants for attendance at the annual APEC Conference. The Power Electronics Society (PELS) and the Industry Application Society (IAS) are joining PSMA in making these awards for APEC 2012. These three organizations are the co-sponsors of APEC.

The Award is intended to support an Undergraduate or Graduate student’s attendance at the APEC Conference by providing up to $1000 to reimburse travel and hotel expenses for the recipients. There will be a maximum of 30 awards for APEC 2012. Awards granted to students from the same institution will be limited. However, the award may be shared by applicants from the same school.

The APEC grant committee has already finalized the selection process of the student grant recipients for the 2012 IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Expo and recipients have been informed.
