A Lofty Tour of Palm Springs

First the group will take a driving tour of old Palm Springs to catch a glimpse of local celebrity homes including the impressive estates and hideaways of Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra, Elizabeth Taylor and more. 

Then the group will arrive at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. The group will board the aerial ride and climb to a mountain station at 8,516 feet, the tramway has been called the world’s most spectacular aerial ride. The tram rotates to provide the worlds premiere 360-degree view of the serene landscape and provides a friendly atmosphere for conversation. Atop the summit sits the Mt. San Jacinto State Park and Wilderness where quests can enjoy a leisurely hike and take in some of the breathtaking panoramic views.

Art of the Desert

Founded in 1938, the Palm Springs Desert Museum is a dynamic, stylish art institution that promotes a greater understanding of art and performing arts through collections, exhibitions and programs. The Museum’s permanent art collection features 19th, 20th and 21st century works focusing on contemporary California art, classic western American art, Native American art; Pre-Columbian art, Mexican art, and European modern art; glass studio art, American mid-twentieth century architecture and American Photography.
