At 8:00pm you will be treated to a performance by a well known Washington theatrical troupe—The Capitol Steps. They began as a group of Senate staffers in 1981 that set out to satirize the people and places that employ them. Since they began, the Capitol Steps have recorded 28 albums, including their latest, Campaign and Suffering. They’ve been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS and can be heard 4 times a year on National Public Radio stations nationwide during their “Politics Takes a Holiday” radio special.
