Cancellation Policies

Cancellation by Attendee: APEC will provide a full refund of registration fees, less an administrative processing fee of $75, for any cancellations received in writing on or before February 18, 2022. Cancellations should be directed to apec@badgeguys.com. Telephone cancellations are NOT accepted for refunds. Participant must obtain confirmation of receipt of email from APEC on or before the cancellation deadline. All refunds will be processed to the original form of payment. After February 18, 2022, there will be no refunds for registrations cancelled whatsoever. Substitutions can be made, without a fee, by contacting the registration team at apec@badgeguys.com. Hotel reservations must be cancelled separately and directly with the hotel. Cancellation by APEC: If for any reason beyond APEC’s control APEC determines that APEC 2022 must be cancelled, shortened, delayed, dates changed, or otherwise altered or changed, Participant understands and agrees that APEC shall not refund the registration fees paid and that all losses and damages that Participants may suffer as a consequence thereof are their responsibility and not that of APEC or its directors, officers, employees, agents or subcontractors. Participants understand that it may lose all monies it has paid to APEC for participation in APEC 2022, as well as other costs and expenses it has incurred, including travel, lodging, etc.

COVID-19 Policy

Important notice re COVID-19: You acknowledge that any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19. You further acknowledge that you will undertake all measures to protect your own health and well-being and those of others in attendance at APEC 2022, such measures include following laws, ordinances and mandates in the locale of the conference. By attending APEC 2022, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold IEEE, PSMA, APEC 2022 (the event); SmithBucklin Corporation or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury. Please refer to the event's Health and Wellness Hub (https://apec-conf.org/conference/health-and-safety/) for the most current Health and Safety Guidelines.

Papers Cancellation

*Note: Cancellation of registrations linked to papers must be submitted in writing to the Registration Center via email at APEC2022@badgeguys.com by November 22, 2022. Cancellations received by November 22, 2022 will receive a refund, less a $75 USD processing fee and the submitted paper will not appear in the Conference Proceedings. No refunds will be given after November 22, 2022. The linked papers may be transferred to another registered author to avoid the November 22, 2022 cancellation requirement and will appear in the Conference Proceedings.
